mulligrubs \MUHL-i-gruhbz\, noun:
Ill temper; colic; grumpiness.
Mulligrub...it's so British sounding, isn't it? Apparently, it's used in the Southern U.S., according to Dictionary.com. I'll have to ask a real southerner about this.
"Mulligrubs" sounds like a British noun
that ends a sentence with a frown.
Now what shall we do on a grumpy day?
Wash those mulligrubs down the bidet!
This might become one of my favorite words.
"Oh stop being such a mulligrub and just get in the car." (Can you actually use the word like that?)
"A pox on you and your mulligrubs!"
