Easter Fruit for Thought

Supposedly, Buddha sat under a fig tree and gained enlightenment.

Myth has it Sir Isaac Newton sat under an apple tree, a piece of fruit fell on his head, and he suddenly understood the scientific nature of gravity.

Myth also has it that George Washington cut a cherry tree and learned honesty because of it.

If Washington got hit on the head by the cherry tree instead, would he have gained more wisdom but have been dishonest?

And if, while sitting under a banana tree a banana fell on my head, would I become enlightened? Or would I become Carmen Miranda reincarnated?

What is it with fruit and trees?

Not exactly deep thoughts on Easter, but hey. We all need a break once or twice or three times or fifteen times a week, don't we?

Happy Spring.

Look out.
